Upon entering the restaurant, we were pleased to find ample parking space available in a convenient location. the room we stayed in was cozy and well-appointed, boasting comfortable beds and immaculate linen. the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. the staff at Berties provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. the hotel also offered various facilities, such as a bar and a charming dining area.
One aspect of the hotel that could be improved is the lack of attention given to room maintenance, as some guests reported issues with broken lamps, shower heads, and missing light bulbs.

Chosen as we had a reunion dinner booked. Very convenient for a shopping trip into Romsey the following day. Excellent food. Friendly atmosphere. The meal was served at the right pace. The service felt personal and we all had a good time for good value.

The restaurant menu offered a wide variety of choices and the food was outstanding. the location was excellent, being situated in the heart of the town. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The room was small and cramped, with limited space to move around. The bathroom was somewhat outdated and could use some renovations.

The staff are friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and the restaurant was good.
Visitors need to be aware that they cant checkin between 3pm and 6pm, because the hotel is linked to restaurant opening hours. Also, the free wifi didnt reach to the room I was staying in.

The location was superb for me - just a walk away from where I needed to be. With a free car park
As the hotel is shut all day, I could not get in until 6pm therefore had to wait 45 mins in my car. Had I been told about this I would have been prepared for it. My room felt as if it hadn't been clean. The bin hadn't been emptied and there were hairs all over the bed. Due to the size of the sink you could not fill the kettle up very easily.

Berties Romsey exceeded my expectations in several ways. the value for money was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices, especially considering the attention to detail and high standard of service provided. Secondly, the location in the New Forest was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. I loved being able to park my car and easily explore the beautiful surroundings. Lastly, the staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were equipped with all the basic amenities I needed, and the artwork added a nice touch to the overall ambiance. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast, which was delicious and included a standout ingredient - the mushrooms!
There was only one small aspect that could be improved upon at this hotel, but overall, everything was more than satisfactory.

Spent my Xmas at a small hotel. the food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and expertly cooked. the waiting staff were attentive and polite. the room I stayed in was small but had all the essentials and was kept clean. the hotel's location was perfect, very central, and close to many local attractions. the free Wi-Fi was also a nice plus.
The hotel was quite expensive for what you get. the walls were thin and it was easy to hear noise from outside and other rooms.

No water pressure in the shower Breakfast only served between 9-10 on Sunday - only 1 hour and too late.

I liked the decor which was clean & fresh, as was the bed linen. We had a family room for the 2 of us, so a nice size. Our other travelling companion had a twin room for her self, but would have been very small for 2 people. Staff were pleasant.
For the money I expected breakfast to be included, not extra. There was no hairdryer or dressing table with mirror, and there was no electric socket near the one mirror, so I had to dry and style my hair without, which is a simple thing but very important. Also no hooks or shelves in bathroom to put anything. Plus bed was very rickety and creaky every time someone moved.

I recently had a very enjoyable stay at this charming hotel in the heart of the New Forest. The first thing that struck me was the great value for money I got with my room rate. It was affordable, especially considering the location and the amenities provided. Speaking of amenities, I was pleased to find that everything I needed was provided, from tea and coffee making facilities to nice soft towels. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that I had a comfortable stay. The hotel also had some lovely artwork on display, adding a touch of elegance to the overall ambiance. Another highlight was the breakfast, which was served with care and attention to detail. The mushrooms in particular were a standout ingredient, cooked to perfection.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was excellent and there was really nothing to complain about.
